Hannah Katz, mft

I see therapy as a collaborative process rooted in authenticity and trust. My style is warm, engaged, and thoughtful. I bring genuine curiosity, honesty, and a steady sense of empathy into the room — creating a space where you feel supported and understood, while also gently challenged as we make sense of what you're navigating.

Earlier in my career, I spent several years in the fashion industry, creating spaces where people felt comfortable being seen, vulnerable, and honest. I bring that same warmth, presence, and attunement into the therapy room. That experience also gave me a firsthand understanding of ambition, pressure, and burnout — something I now support many clients through.

I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck in patterns. Sometimes that shows up as persistent anxiety or a harsh inner critic. Sometimes it is tension in relationships, difficulty with stress, or a sense that life has shifted in ways that are hard to find your footing in. Together, we slow things down, get curious about what's underneath, and work toward change that sticks.

My work is grounded in a systemic, relational lens and informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, and elements of Solution-Focused and Narrative therapy. I take a collaborative, holistic approach — looking at the full context of your life, not just what's happening in the moment. My goal is for our work to feel both grounding and forward-moving, so you leave with not just insight, but a real sense of change.
