KRISTEN FLOERSHEIMER, MSN, FNP-BC

My Approach

I am a compassionate, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in oncology and end-of-life care, currently completing my Psychiatric Mental Health Certification. With over a decade of experience helping patients navigate complex, emotionally charged situations, I bring both clinical expertise and deep human understanding to my work. My time on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic illuminated the critical need for accessible, relatable mental healthcare — and inspired me to bridge that gap with intention and heart.

Group Therapy

I work with families navigating difficult conversations, transitions, and moments where connection feels strained. Drawing on my experience supporting patients and loved ones through some of life's most challenging chapters, I create a space where each person's voice matters. My approach emphasizes open communication, practical tools, and the belief that healing happens in relationship. Together, we'll work to strengthen bonds and build resilience.

Individual Therapy

I support individuals working through anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the weight of feeling overwhelmed or stuck. I believe in connecting with clients personally and empowering them to take an active role in their growth and development. My style is warm, grounded, and focused on fostering the kind of presence that allows for real change. I offer practical tools (CBT) alongside genuine support, helping you feel heard while building the mental health and well-being you deserve.

What It's Like to Work Together

I have a deep love for collaboration and building community. I believe "presence is the essence" — that showing up fully, with compassion and curiosity, is where meaningful connection begins. Whether working individually or in groups, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered to explore, grow, and cultivate strength and resilience. You don't have to navigate this alone — I'm here to walk alongside you.
